Butchers & Bicycles is a Danish brand rooted in the Meatpacking district of Copenhagen. With their MK1-E Built-To-Tilt ™ electric cargo bike they designed and manufactured a reel alternative to the car for urban families worldwide.

Butchers & Bicycles is a Danish brand specialising in urban transportation. They are based in the old meatpacking district in Copenhagen, hence the Butchers in the brand name, but their electric cargo trikes named MK1-E has long since spread beyond the biking nation of Denmark and is now sold in over 120 stores in the United States and Australia, as well as about 30 other countries in Europe and Asia.

The Butchers & Bicycles’ MK1-E cargo bike is used by families worldwide as the main form of daily transportation. It’s a fast, safe and super easy to ride e-cargo bike with car-like comfort.
Because the MK1-E leans into the turns due to its patented tilt system it's both fast and safe at the same time. The 3 wheels makes the cargo bike stable to ride with kids and the ability to lean makes it comfortable and safe on uneven roads and while turning.

The MK1-E is used for both leisure and work by their owners, and the bike won the category Best Cargo Bike at the CyclingWorld award show in Düsseldorf in 2017.
